A few weeks back the students created these pictures inspired by Canadian artist Ted Harrison. They learned how Harrison used lots of bold colours, warm colours in the sky and cooler colours for the landscape, as well as lots of lines in his artwork. He lived in the Yukon and often painted an Inukshuk in his work. Students used pastels to create their pieces. What do you think?
