The students had a great time celebrating La Journee Franco-Ontarien today. There was lots of music and dancing at Centennial Hall, and the students enjoyed waving their flags and singing "Mon beau Drapeau" as we practiced in class.

This year, St Anthony students have been divided into "House Colours". There will be a number of assemblies and activities planned where students will be required to wear their clothing to represent their "House". Here is a list of our class colours. If you do not own anything of that colour, it is recommended that you purchase a t-shirt or something simple as your child will need to wear this colour quite a bit throughout the school year.
On Friday the students had the opportunity to learn more about agriculture from a variety of local farmers during our field trip to the Western Fair Agriplex. Students learned about eggs, dairy farming, cattle farming, pigs and about the importance of where food comes from during the Growing Chefs portion. The students were happy that they got to witness an egg being laid and were able to pet many of the animals!
