Yesterday the students worked on these contrasting symmetrical faces in art class. I think they turned out great! Have a great weekend everyone.

Last art class, the students listened to a read aloud of the story "Snowmen at Night" for inspiration for our art lesson. The students had to draw a snowman doing an "activity" at night. We used white chalk for the snowmen and coloured chalk for the shading. We have been receiving lots of compliments on our work hanging in the hallway!
Happy New Year! I hope that you all have enjoyed a relaxing and wonderful holiday with your families and friends. Here is a bit of a look back on our month of December. We had lots going on, from Book Talk presentations to Science Instrument creations, to learning lots about Polygons and of course Advent and Christmas celebrations. The students got pretty creative for the Book Talk presentations! Way to go guys! Students working on their Instruments for Science class. Some fun snapshots from our Air bands!
