Last week, the student parliment assigned each class the task of decorating their door for Christmas. The idea was to choose a book and decorate your door based on that book. The book I chose for our class was "A Porcupine in a Pine Tree" (in French). Which is basically the 12 Days of Christmas Canadian! I was so impressed with how hard the students worked on the door and how they all worked together as a team to create a wonderful final product! Our door looks great and I really think we have a great chance of winning!!
As I mentioned before, I love 2D geometry! There are so many great art ideas and projects to do, not to mention all the fun manipulatives! Here are the students exploring the Geoboards and Tangram puzzles.
