During their last visit, the team explained and demonstrated how to make salad dressing. They showed the students about the proper ratios of oil to acid. They also talked about different plants and students learned about many different vegetables, fruits and flowers.
This time, the students were given a "Black Box" challenge. They were to create their own salad, using the information they learned in the last session. The teams were only allowed to use the ingredients in their "box" and had to complete their task in 20 minutes. They were also required to plate their salad.
It was a great afternoon, and we are very happy to have been given this opportunity.
